Songshan's IB pioneer.
Xisong Senior High traces its roots to 1968, when it opened as Xisong Junior High School to serve Songshan's rapidly growing population near the old Taipei Songshan Airport and rail yards. On July 1, 1997, it was reorganized into a six-year "complete secondary school" combining junior- and senior-high divisions and took its current name. In February 2021, Xisong became the first public school in Taiwan authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP), and in October 2022 it signed a sister-school agreement with Daegu Seobu High School in South Korea.
西松高中創立於民國57年（1968年），最初為西松國中，服務當時因松山機場與鐵路調車場周邊人口快速成長的松山區。民國86年（1997年）7月1日，學校改制為國中部與高中部六年一貫的完全中學，並更名為西松高中。民國110年（2021年）2月，西松高中成為全台第一所獲授權開設國際文憑大學預科課程（IB Diploma Programme）的公立學校；民國111年（2022年）10月，更與韓國大邱西部高中締結姊妹校。
