National Xinying Senior High School

National Xinying Senior High was founded in April 1946 as 'Tainan County Xinying Junior High School' under first principal Lin Ming-hai. It was upgraded to a full junior-and-senior high school in 1952 as 'Tainan County Xinying High School,' became a Taiwan-provincial school in 1953, ceased junior-high enrollment in 1968 under nine-year compulsory education, and took its present name, National Xinying Senior High School, on February 1, 2000. In 2018 its Business Management and Data Processing departments were reorganized into Logistics Management and E-Commerce departments.

國立新營高級中學創立於民國35年（1946年）4月，初名台南縣新營中學，首任校長為林明海。民國41年（1952年）改制為完全中學（含初高中部），定名台南縣立新營中學；民國42年（1953年）改為省立學校；民國57年（1968年）九年國教實施後停止招收初中部；民國89年（2000年）2月1日改制為國立新營高級中學。2018年，學校將原有的商業經營與資料處理科整併為物流管理科與電子商務科。
