Tainan Municipal Xinxing Elementary School

Xinxing Elementary School's exact founding date is not entirely settled across available sources. It appears to have begun around 1961 as a branch campus — "Jinxue National School, Fengjia Branch" — with most references citing 1963 as the year it became independent under the name Xinxing Elementary, though at least one source points to as early as 1958. Given that uncertainty, the school's founding is best described as approximately the early-to-mid 1960s rather than a single confirmed date. Its first principal was Qian Yu-kang, and the school has had nine principals over the course of its history. Xinxing underwent multiple facility upgrades in 2023.

新興國小確切創校年份，各方資料說法略有出入。學校約於1961年（民國50年）以「進學國校逢甲分校」型態設立，多數資料指向1963年（民國52年）獨立設校並定名新興國小，惟亦有資料指向1958年（民國47年）。因資料分歧，校史年代宜視為約在1960年代初中期，而非單一確切日期。首任校長為錢玉慶，歷任九位校長。學校於2023年（民國112年）進行多項校舍設施更新。
