Xinwen Elementary School

Xinwen Elementary School was founded in 1922, and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022 with a commemorative fun run, "Running for Xinwen's Centennial." The school has produced a notably strong list of alumni for such a small coastal community, including a Judicial Yuan Justice, a National Assembly delegate, and several legislators and councilors. Today it teaches computational thinking with Scratch and micro:bit, offers indigenous-language instruction, and emphasizes energy-conservation environmental education, alongside distance-learning infrastructure with online meeting rooms and showcases of the campus's plant life.

新塭國小創立於民國11年（1922年），並於2022年舉辦「為新塭百年而跑」紀念路跑活動，慶祝建校百年。以一所濱海小型社區學校而言，校友表現十分亮眼，包括一位司法院大法官（蔡清遊）、一位國民大會代表，以及多位立法委員與縣議員（蔡同榮、蔡啟芳、顏蔡淑惠、蔡信典、蘇德祥等）。學校現以Scratch及micro:bit教授程式與運算思維，開設本土語言課程，並著重節能環境教育，同時建置遠距教學設備與線上會議教室，並展示校園植物生態。
