A Hakka town's school with a branching past.
Hsinpu Junior High School was founded on October 26, 1946 as Xinpu Junior Middle School, and was reorganized into a full junior high school in 1968. Over the decades it has grown to serve as an educational anchor for Xinpu, a historic Hakka market town in Hsinchu County. Today the school integrates digital-learning platforms such as Yuni, Kahoot!, and Cool English into classroom teaching, and runs a community reading center that extends learning beyond the school gates.
