Xinpi Junior High School

Xinpi Junior High School spans six hectares of green campus space in Xinpi Township. The school recently reversed a decade-long enrollment decline — new-student intake grew from 12 to 17 in a recent year, including three county-award-winning students, breaking a 10-year enrollment record, after shrinking from 18 classes to just 6 with roughly 66 total students. The turnaround is credited to an emphasis on personalized, non-exam-focused education: the principal knows every student by name, each student has a tablet computer, and the school runs scouting and character-education programs using its ecological grounds, plus community camping events with feeder elementary schools. Principal Su Chuan-tse (蘇銓賜) is noted as the first in the school's history — which has had 10 prior principals — to serve two consecutive terms.

新埤國中佔地六公頃，校園綠意盎然。學校近年扭轉了長達十年的招生下滑趨勢——某學年度新生人數從12人成長至17人，其中包含三名縣級獲獎學生，打破十年來的招生紀錄，此前班級數已從18班萎縮至僅6班，全校僅約66名學生。這番轉變歸功於個人化、不以升學考試為導向的教育理念：校長認得每一位學生，每位學生配有一台平板電腦，並運用校園生態場域推動童軍與品格教育，還與周邊國小合辦社區露營活動。現任校長蘇銓賜是本校歷史上（共經歷10任校長）首位連任兩屆的校長。
