Raising children who make the tribe proud.
Xinmei Elementary was founded in 1961 in the Tsou (鄒族) village of Xinmei. Its school motto emphasizes raising "鄒讚" (Tsou-praised) — disciplined, excellent children — carrying strong Tsou cultural branding through every part of school life. Xinmei offers Tsou-language certification courses, maintains the "Somolosolo 鄒族古謠隊" ancient-ballad choir, and runs cultural and traditional hunting-education outdoor activities, while its students regularly take part in county-level science, athletics, and arts competitions.
