A steady presence in Xinle Village.
Xinle Elementary began in 1953 as a branch class of Jianshi National School serving Xinle Village, was upgraded to a branch school in 1955, and became fully independent in 1958, taking its present name in 1968. An attached kindergarten class was added in 1986. In more recent years, the school undertook a full demolition and rebuild of its complex and gymnasium building. Like its neighboring schools across Jianshi Township, Xinle Elementary serves the area's Atayal Indigenous community.
