National Hsinhua Senior High School

National Hsinhua Senior High was founded on October 20, 1959, as a branch campus of Provincial Tainan First Senior High School, created partly for civil-defense dispersal planning and to serve junior-high graduates from Xinhua, Yujing, Nanhua, Xinshi, and Yongkang who otherwise faced long commutes to central Tainan. The first phase of its own campus was completed in May 1963, and the school became fully independent in 1966. Today it enrolls about 1,372 students on a 62,913-square-meter campus, under the motto "Wisdom, Integrity, Diligence, Learning" (慧、誠、勤、學). Its current principal, Liu Ruiyuan, is the school's first female principal, and the school has recently partnered with outside institutions on semiconductor-industry training and green-energy/climate curricula.

新化高中創校於民國48年（1959年）10月20日，最初是省立台南第一高級中學的分部，設校目的部分為民防疏散規劃，另一方面則是讓新化、玉井、南化、新市、永康等地的國中畢業生免於長途通勤台南市區之苦。民國52年（1963年）5月，首期校舍完工，民國55年（1966年）正式獨立設校。目前約有1,372名學生，校地62,913平方公尺，校訓為「慧、誠、勤、學」。現任校長劉瑞元為該校首位女性校長，學校近年並與校外機構合作推動半導體產業人才培訓及綠能氣候課程（2024–2025）。
