Xingzhong Elementary was established in 1916 as a branch school and celebrated its 109th anniversary during the 2024 academic year, giving it over a century of history in Minsyong Township. The school runs a dedicated art class program called "藝啟感動-興中美術班" (Art Inspires Emotion), alongside indigenous-language instruction, English, calligraphy, and reading competitions. It also maintains track and field and volleyball facilities as well as school garden spaces, rounding out a well-balanced program of arts, language, sport, and hands-on learning.
興中國小創立於民國5年(1916年),最初為分校,於2024學年度慶祝建校109週年,在民雄鄉已有超過百年歷史。學校設有名為「藝啟感動-興中美術班」的專屬美術課程,並推動本土語言、英語、書法及閱讀競賽課程。校園也設有田徑與排球運動設施,以及校園菜圃空間,展現藝術、語言、體育與實作學習並重的均衡教育。
