Xingren Elementary School

Xingren Elementary originated from two branch classes of Shiquan Elementary, established in Xingren and Wukan villages in 1950 and merged in 1952. It became a fully independent school in August 1956 as "興仁國民學校," opening with 6 classes and 278 students, and took its current name in 1968. Despite its name, the school is actually physically located in Wukan Village rather than Xingren Village — a quirk of the merger that formed it.

興仁國小的前身是石泉國小於民國39年（1950年）在興仁、烏崁兩地設立的分班，兩班於民國41年（1952年）合併。民國45年（1956年）8月正式獨立設校，稱「興仁國民學校」，創校初期有6班278名學生，民國57年（1968年）定名為現名。有趣的是，儘管校名為「興仁」，學校實際座落於烏崁里而非興仁里，這正是當年合併歷史留下的痕跡。
