A young school with a baseball legacy.
Xingfu Junior High School was founded in November 1975, with Pan Weijian as its first principal — a comparatively young school reflecting Wenshan's mid-1970s residential growth as farmland gave way to new neighborhoods. The school takes its name from its local cadastral district designation, "Xingfu" (興福).
The school emblem features a bat (蝙蝠), a homophone-based symbol of good fortune referencing "福" in the school's name. In 2009, Xingfu established Wenshan District's first youth baseball team, and baseball has since become the school's signature program.
