Xiaowei Elementary School

Xiaowei Elementary was founded in 1921, under Japanese rule, and took its current name in 1968 — over a century of continuous history serving the Xiaowei area of Wujie Township. The school has been selected as a Yilan County "Reading Cornerstone School" and a county PE Excellence School, and maintains sister-school relationships with schools in Japan and the United States. Its roughly 2.4-hectare campus includes a swimming pool, gymnasium, and library, reflecting steady investment in student facilities over the decades.

孝威國小創立於日治時期的民國10年（1921年），民國57年（1968年）定名為現名——超過百年來持續服務五結鄉孝威地區。學校曾獲選為宜蘭縣「閱讀磐石學校」與縣體育績優學校，並與日本、美國的學校締結姊妹校關係。校園佔地約2.4公頃，設有游泳池、體育館與圖書館，展現學校數十年來對學生設施的持續投資。
