Xianming Elementary School

Xianming Elementary opened in 1941 during the Japanese colonial era as a branch school known as "三星西國民學校清水分校." A flood in 1943 destroyed the original campus, forcing it to close, and the school did not reopen until 1945. It gained independence in 1948, then relocated in 1950 to a site near Fushan Temple in Tiansongpi before moving again to its present location in 1954. Its history of flood damage and repeated relocation mirrors the flood-prone river geography of the Sanxing plain.

憲明國小創立於日治時期民國30年（1941年），初為分校，稱「三星西國民學校清水分校」。民國32年（1943年）一場洪水沖毀原校舍，被迫停辦，直至民國34年（1945年）始復校。民國37年（1948年）獨立設校，民國39年（1950年）遷至天送埤福山宮附近，民國43年（1954年）再遷至現址。其洪水受損與多次遷校的歷史，正反映了三星平原易受水患侵襲的河川地理特性。
