Wuyuan Elementary School

Wuyuan Elementary's exact founding date is not precisely documented, though a recorded sports-day anniversary in 1951 shows the school already existed by then — it may date back further, to the Japanese colonial era, though this is unconfirmed. Today it is a small school of about six classes and just over one hundred students and staff. Wuyuan runs its own organic school garden, known as the "Wuyuan Living Farm" (武淵活農園), growing produce without pesticides, and it received a 2022 Taiwan-US Eco-Schools bronze certification. The school also offers indigenous-language curriculum.

武淵國小的確切創校時間尚未精確查證，但依現存紀錄，學校於民國40年（1951年）已舉辦運動會週年活動，顯示創校時間更早，甚至可能追溯至日治時期，惟尚未確認。如今這是一所僅約六班、師生人數略超過百人的小型學校。武淵國小經營自家的有機校園菜圃「武淵活農園」，以無農藥方式栽種蔬果，並於民國111年（2022年）榮獲台美生態學校銅牌認證。學校同時開設原住民族語課程。
