Wu-Yu Senior High School opened in 2001 as Nantou County's first private senior high school, founded with the ambition of becoming the county seat's flagship private institution. Rather than following the traditional academic-only track, the school built its identity around vocational departments — multimedia animation, care services, and beauty and cosmetology — that prepare students directly for skilled trades. Around 364 students study across 12 classes under the school motto 誠敬勤樸 (sincerity, respect, diligence, simplicity).
五育高中創立於民國90年（2001年），是南投縣第一所私立高級中學，創校之初便懷抱成為縣內指標性私校的願景。學校並未走傳統純學術路線，而是以多媒體動畫、照顧服務、美容美髮等職業類科建立特色，直接培養學生的專業技能。目前約有364名學生，分為12個班級，校訓為「誠敬勤樸」。
