Wuxing Elementary School

Wuxing Elementary School was founded in 1968 on land donated by Cheng Shuizhen. A parent association formed in September 1968, and the first phase of school buildings — the Zhongxiao, Xinyi, and Zhuangjing buildings — was completed by March 1969, at which point Sanxing Elementary School transferred over 1,100 students to the new school. The school adopted its motto, "誠毅勤樸" (Sincerity, Fortitude, Diligence, Simplicity), along with its school emblem, in April 1978. A bronze statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and an ornamental "plum blossom pond" were installed on campus in 1979, and its school magazine, "I Love Wuxing," launched its first issue in May 1980.

吳興國小創立於1968年（民國57年），校地由程水圳先生捐贈。1968年9月成立家長會，1969年3月完成首期校舍（忠孝樓、信義樓、莊敬樓），三興國小同時撥出逾1,100名學生轉入吳興國小就讀。1978年4月訂定校訓「誠毅勤樸」及校徽。1979年於校園內設置國父銅像及「梅花池」造景，1980年5月創刊校刊《我愛吳興》。
