From a mountain branch to a maker-education pioneer.
Wulong Elementary began in 1920 during the Japanese colonial era as a branch of Jiuqionglin Public School, located in the mountain village of Luliaokeng. It became independent as Luliaokeng Public School in 1928, went through several name changes, and took its current name in 1968. In a striking modern turn, the school was designated Hsinchu County's 9th experimental education school starting in 2022 through 2027, with a focus on maker education, "5C" skills, AI, and robotics.
