Wu-Ling Senior High School

Wu-Ling Senior High started life in 1955 as a branch campus of Taipei's Provincial Chenggong High School, becoming an independent school in 1959 under the name "Taiwan Provincial Wu-Ling Senior High School." It became national in 2000 and municipal in 2018. Over the decades the school has built a reputation for gifted and specialized programs: math-science gifted classes since 1988, a science program run jointly with National Central University, a music-gifted program since 1991, and a language-gifted program added in 2004. As of 2017 the school enrolled about 2,489 students in 63 classes on a campus of roughly 49,250 square meters, and it has held sister-school relationships with institutions in Japan and France since 2016.

武陵高中的前身是民國44年（1955年）設立的「臺灣省立臺北成功中學茄苳溪分部」，民國48年（1959年）獨立設校，定名「臺灣省立武陵中學」。民國89年（2000年）改為國立，2018年改為市立。多年來學校以資優與特色課程著稱：數理資優班自1988年開辦，並與國立中央大學合作辦理科學班；音樂資優班自1991年開辦；語文資優班則於2004年增設。2017年資料顯示全校約2,489名學生、63個班級，校地約49,250平方公尺，並自2016年起與日本、法國的學校締結姊妹校。
