Wujia Junior High serves the historic Wujia (五甲) community in Fongshan District. Its exact founding date predates 1991, since Fucheng Senior High's junior high section was later split off specifically to relieve Wujia Junior High's overcrowding as the surrounding population grew. The school remains a core institution for one of Fongshan's most established neighborhoods.
五甲國中服務鳳山區歷史悠久的五甲社區。確切創校年份不詳，但可推知早於民國80年（1991年），因為福誠高中（國中部）便是為了紓解五甲國中因周邊人口成長而產生的擁擠問題所增設。該校至今仍是五甲地區重要的教育機構之一。
