Wenying Junior High School was established in 1972 to serve outlying areas of Toufen that were then underserved by existing schools. The school celebrated its 53rd anniversary in late 2025. Its track and field team and ocarina (陶笛) team have earned notable competition results over the years, and in 2024 the school received a NT$10.75 million Ministry of Education grant to build an all-weather covered sports ground (風雨操場).
文英國中創立於民國61年（1972年），設校目的為服務當時教育資源相對不足的頭份市外圍地區。學校於民國114年（2025年）末歡慶53週年校慶。田徑隊與陶笛隊多年來屢獲佳績，民國113年（2024年）更獲教育部核定新台幣1,075萬元經費，興建風雨操場。
