A long road from branch classroom to independent school.
Wen-Ao Elementary's history traces back to a 1951 branch classroom of Shiquan Elementary, which was discontinued and revived more than once over the following decades. It finally became a fully independent school in August 1997, when a new campus was built on a two-hectare site in Xiwen Village, opening with 8 classes and 194 students. Today it serves the children of this village on the outskirts of Magong City.
