Wandan Elementary School

Wandan Elementary School has roughly 110 years of history, tracing back to the Japanese colonial era of the early 1910s, and stands as one of the most distinguished schools in Wandan Township. Its alumni notably include four Pingtung County magistrates, a testament to the school's long-standing role in shaping local leadership. The school has also been recognized for its vibrant reading-promotion programs, featured in a “Reading Classmates Reunion” article by the National Library of Public Information for what was described as “a stunning sea of reading blossoms.” Wandan Elementary also operates a branch school, Zhulin Branch, extending its reach into the surrounding community.

萬丹國小校史約110年，源自日治時期初期（約1910年代），是萬丹鄉歷史悠久且聲譽卓著的學校之一。校友中曾出過四位屏東縣縣長，見證了學校長年培育地方領袖的深厚淵源。學校的閱讀推廣成果也備受肯定，曾獲國立公共資訊圖書館「閱讀同學會」專文報導，形容其閱讀文化「開出驚豔的閱讀花海」。萬丹國小並設有竹林分校，將教育觸角延伸至周邊社區。
