Zhongyuan Elementary School

Zhongyuan Elementary began in 1998 as a planning branch of nearby Puren Elementary School and became an independent school in August 2001, under its first principal, Deng Zhen-tian. The school is built directly adjacent to Chung Yuan Christian University and the Zhongyuan Night Market — its playground was constructed with an underground parking garage beneath it, specifically to serve as public parking for the night market, since the school site was previously the market's only nearby parking space. The school's founding theme, "樂馬中原、滿音滿校園," developed recorder (直笛) music into a signature program.

中原國小前身為1998年設立的仁美國小中原分校，2001年8月獨立設校，首任校長為鄧振添。校地緊鄰中原大學與中原夜市，操場地下建有停車場，專門提供夜市公共停車使用——因為在設校前，這裡曾是夜市附近唯一的停車空間。學校以「樂馬中原、滿音滿校園」為創校主題，發展出直笛音樂特色課程。
