Zhongpu Elementary School

Zhongpu Elementary opened on April 1, 1923, during the Japanese colonial era, as the "Taoyuan Public School Puzi Branch Classroom" (桃園公學校埔子分教場). It is one of the older elementary schools in Taoyuan District, tracing its roots to the early 1920s, and takes its name from Puzi (埔子), the older rural place-name for the neighborhood it serves. The precise ROC-calendar equivalent of its founding is not confirmed in available sources, since Taiwan was under Japanese administration at the time, but the school marked its centennial around ROC year 112 (2023).

中埔國小創立於大正12年（1923年）4月1日日治時期，最初名為「桃園公學校埔子分教場」。它是桃園區歷史最悠久的國小之一，校史可追溯至1920年代初期，校名取自「埔子」——這個學區早年的鄉間地名。由於創校時台灣仍處於日治時期，確切的民國紀年目前尚無資料確認，但學校已於民國112年（2023年）左右舉辦建校百週年慶祝活動。
