Zhentou Elementary School

Zhentou Elementary was founded in 1958 as a branch class of Dayuan National School, becoming an independent school in 1963. For roughly 66 years, it served the farming families of Zhentou Village in Dayuan District. But Zhentou's land fell within the expropriation zone for the Taoyuan Aerotropolis (航空城) project — the large-scale development surrounding the expansion of Taoyuan International Airport — and on July 31, 2024, the school was formally abolished, one of several Dayuan elementary schools closed that year for the same reason. Its remaining students transferred to Dayuan Elementary and Guolin Elementary. We keep this page as a historical record of a school that served its village community for nearly seven decades.

圳頭國小創立於1958年（民國47年），最初為大園國民學校的分班，1963年（民國52年）獨立設校，近66年來服務大園區圳頭里的農村家庭。然而，圳頭里的土地劃入桃園航空城計畫（桃園國際機場擴建周邊開發案）的徵收範圍，學校於2024年（民國113年）7月31日正式廢校，是當年因同一原因廢校的幾所大園國小之一。原有學生轉學至大園國小與果林國小。我們保留此頁面，作為這所服務村落社區近七十年學校的歷史紀錄。
