Yang Ming Senior High School

Yang Ming Senior High opened in 1992 as "Taiwan Provincial Yang Ming Senior High School," becoming national in 2000 and municipal after Taoyuan's 2018 reorganization. Its name honors Ming-dynasty philosopher Wang Yangming (王陽明) and the neighboring Yangming community, and its campus site was reclaimed from a former irrigation pond (埤塘) — a detail that ties the school directly to the district's agricultural past. Historical data from ROC year 98 put enrollment at about 2,400 students in 60 classes (20 per grade) with 134 teachers. The school is one of four included in the city's "Taoyuan Top Education Initiative," a program grouping the district's leading public high schools, and maintains sister-school relationships with Narita International High School in Chiba, Japan, and Tottori Prefectural Yonago Higashi High School, also in Japan.

陽明高中創校於民國81年（1992年），初名「臺灣省立陽明高級中學」，民國89年（2000年）改為國立，2018年桃園升格直轄市後改為市立。校名取自明代哲學家王陽明，也呼應鄰近的陽明社區；校地則是由昔日的埤塘填築而成，與桃園過去的農業地景有著直接的淵源。民國98年資料顯示，全校約2,400名學生、60個班級（每年級20班）、134位教師。學校是市府「桃園學區教育領航計畫」四所重點高中之一，並與日本千葉縣成田國際高等學校、鳥取縣立米子東高等學校締結姊妹校。
