Nanmen Elementary School

Nanmen Elementary was approved for establishment in June 1964 as a branch of Taoyuan Elementary School, becoming fully independent on August 1, 1968. In 1985 the school established a dedicated dance class — the first school in Taoyuan City to receive municipal "dance specialty" (舞蹈特色) accreditation — and has since graduated more than 36 cohorts of dance students. The school also promotes music education through a "one student, one recorder" (一人一笛) program and a book-donation reading initiative, guided by its motto and values: 尊重、樂觀、多元、全人 (Respect, Optimism, Diversity, Whole-person development).

南門國小於民國53年（1964年）6月核准設立，最初是桃園國小的分校，民國57年（1968年）8月1日獨立設校。民國74年（1985年）成立舞蹈班，是全桃園市第一所獲頒「舞蹈特色」認證的學校，至今已培育超過36屆舞蹈學生。學校也透過「一人一笛」音樂教育計畫與捐書閱讀活動推廣藝文教育，並秉持「尊重、樂觀、多元、全人」的校訓與核心價值。
