Xinxing Elementary is a small Paiwan Indigenous community school in mountainous Jinfeng Township that places tribal-language and cultural transmission at the heart of its teaching. The school runs an immersive tribal-language kindergarten program and makes use of an Indigenous-language e-learning platform, giving young students consistent exposure to Paiwan language from an early age. Students also take part in the National Indigenous Children's Painting Competition and go on tribal cultural tours woven directly into the curriculum.
