Taipei Municipal Xinhu Elementary School was founded in 1991, part of a wave of new school construction in Neihu accompanying the district's tech-park-driven population growth in the 1990s. The school completed a new activity center in 2023, and its campus includes solar-powered outdoor court lighting and a rainwater-recycling irrigation system as part of a broader sustainable-campus initiative — modernizing the facilities while keeping pace with the district's continued growth.
新湖國小創立於民國80年（1991年），是內湖區配合1990年代科技園區發展帶動人口成長而興建的新校之一。學校於民國112年（2023年）完成新建活動中心，校園並設有太陽能球場照明與雨水回收灌溉系統，作為永續校園計畫的一環，持續在硬體上與地區發展同步升級。
