Wenchang Elementary School

Wenchang Elementary School was founded in 1981. In an unusual chapter of its history, the entire school temporarily relocated to Taipei American School's campus in 1998 while its own buildings were demolished and rebuilt, moving into its new campus in 2002 — a rare case of a public elementary school borrowing an international school's facilities for years. In 2017, Wenchang began piloting bilingual education, teaching arts and living-skills subjects in English. A historic dormitory cluster on its grounds, "文昌國小舊宿舍群," has been registered as a protected historic building.

文昌國小創立於民國70年（1981年）。學校歷史中有一段特殊插曲：1998年因校舍拆除重建，全校師生暫時遷往臺北美國學校校園上課，直到2002年才遷入新校舍——這在公立小學中相當罕見。2017年起，文昌國小試辦雙語教育，以英語教授藝術與生活領域課程。校內一處歷史宿舍群「文昌國小舊宿舍群」已登錄為歷史建築。
