Taipei Municipal Lishan Elementary School was founded in 1988, joining the earlier-established Lishan Junior High (1979) as part of the "Lishan" (麗山, "beautiful mountain") cluster in Neihu's hilly eastern terrain; Lishan Senior High followed in 2000, completing the three-school group. The school runs dedicated table-tennis and swimming programs, giving students a focused path into competitive sport, and also has a kindergarten and resource classes on campus, extending its educational offerings beyond the standard elementary curriculum.
麗山國小創立於民國77年（1988年），與較早成立的麗山國中（1979年創校）共同構成內湖東側丘陵地帶的「麗山」學校群，麗山高中則於2000年加入，形成三校群。學校設有桌球與游泳專項訓練，為學生提供競技運動的專門培育管道，校內並附設幼兒園與資源班，延伸標準國小課程之外的教育服務。
