Bo'ai Elementary School began preparation in 1988 and was formally established in September 1992 under founding principal Lin Tusheng, who served until 1997. It is a large campus by Taipei standards — as of the 2021 school year it had about 74 classes and roughly 2,051 students, with 146 teachers. Its multi-function sports center, swimming pool, auditorium, and multimedia center all opened together on January 9, 2004.
博愛國小自1988年（民國77年）開始籌備，1992年（民國81年）9月正式設校，首任校長林土生任職至1997年。以台北市標準而言屬大型學校，110學年度約有74班、學生約2,051人、教師146人。學校的多功能運動中心、游泳池、大禮堂及多媒體中心於2004年1月9日同步啟用。
