南和國小可追溯至日治時期1920年(大正9年)設立的分教場,1926年(大正15年)獨立設校,稱為南和公學校。此後歷經百餘年持續辦學,服務南和村的農業聚落,同時也身處著名的白沙屯媽祖進香文化圈內。
