Tongmen Elementary School

Tongmen Elementary was founded in 1916 under Japanese colonial rule as "霧克母岳乙種蕃童教育所," making it one of the oldest schools in Xiulin Township at over a century old. The campus sits at the foot of Mt. Qilai and is branded "奇萊山下的夢想學園" (Dream Academy at the Foot of Mt. Qilai). Two 100-year-old camphor trees and a grove of pines still stand on the grounds — living witnesses to the school's long history — and students have built a strong record in Truku-language recitation competitions.

銅門國小創立於1916年日治時期，最初名為「霧克母岳乙種蕃童教育所」，是秀林鄉歷史最悠久的學校之一，建校已超過百年。校園座落於奇萊山腳下，自我品牌為「奇萊山下的夢想學園」。校內兩棵百年老樟樹與一片松林至今依然屹立，見證著學校的悠久歷史，學生也在太魯閣族語朗讀比賽中屢創佳績。
