Tongde Junior High School

Tongde Junior High's preparatory office was established on August 1, 2000, hosted at nearby Wenchang Junior High, before the school formally opened in 2003 and admitted its first classes that year. It sits in Taoyuan's 藝文特區 (Art & Culture Special District), a planned residential and cultural zone, and has grown into a large "excellent" (卓越) school with roughly 1,800 students. It was renamed to Taoyuan Municipal Tongde Junior High School in the December 2014 county-to-city upgrade, and its motto — 真、善、美、愛 (Truth, Goodness, Beauty, Love) — reflects its founding values.

同德國中籌備處於民國89年（2000年）8月1日成立，暫設於鄰近的文昌國中，並於民國92年（2003年）正式設校招生。學校位於桃園「藝文特區」——一個規劃完善的住宅與文化特定區內，如今已發展成擁有約1,800名學生的大型「卓越」學校。2014年12月隨桃園縣升格直轄市，正式更名為桃園市立同德國民中學。校訓「真、善、美、愛」體現了建校以來的核心價值。
