Tong-De Elementary is among the largest elementary schools in Taoyuan District — as of the 2022 school year it had 55 classes, 1,565 students, and 97 teachers. Located on Tongde 6th Street in the eastern residential district that grew up alongside neighboring Tong-An Elementary, the school offers a creativity gifted class (創造力資優班) and a bilingual curriculum, and has built its own branded trilingual-education initiative, "同德新三語" (New Trilingual). Students have recently won robotics-competition awards, and staff have received Taiwan's national Teaching Excellence Award (師鐸獎).
