Yong'an Elementary School

Yong'an Elementary opened in August 1961 as a branch campus of Houbi Elementary School, on a 3.5-hectare site with seven classes. It became an independent school the following year, in August 1962, as "Tainan County Yong'an Elementary School," was renamed under nine-year compulsory education in 1968, and took its current municipal name after the 2010 Tainan city-county merger. Today the school is recognized as a Ministry of Education Green School Partner, with active environmental-education and sustainability programs alongside weekly English and Indigenous-language learning materials.

永安國小於民國50年（1961年）8月成立為後壁國民學校永安分校，校地3.5公頃，設7個班級；隔年（民國51年，1962年）8月獨立設校，定名「臺南縣永安國民學校」，民國57年（1968年）改制為「永安國民小學」，民國99年（2010年）縣市合併後改為現名。學校現為教育部「綠色學校夥伴網路」成員，推動環境教育與永續校園，並設有英語與原住民族語言的每週學習教材。
