Wenshan Elementary was founded in April 1922 as the Xidiliao branch of Beimen Public School, becoming independent in 1938 as Xidiliao Public School before later being renamed Wenshan Elementary School. Located in Beimen's southwestern coastal area, it is flanked by the Taiwan 17 coastal highway to the east and the Taiwan 61 coastal expressway to the west. The school celebrated its 100th anniversary, reported as the city's 87th school to reach that milestone.
文山國小創立於大正11年（1922年）4月，前身為北門公學校溪底寮分教場，民國27年（1938年）獨立設校為溪底寮公學校，後更名為文山國小。學校位於北門區西南沿海地帶，東臨台17線、西臨台61線兩條濱海公路。學校歡慶建校百週年，據報導為台南市第87所達成此里程碑的學校。
