Tainan Municipal Rixin Elementary School

Rixin Elementary School was founded in April 1912 as the "Anping Public School, Yancheng Branch," with its first classrooms set up inside the Yancheng Xuantian Shangdi Temple. It became independent in 1918 as "Tainan City Yancheng Public School," and was renamed Rixin Elementary in 1968. One of the oldest elementary schools in South District, the school celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2018 — the same year it began a full campus rebuild. Its original 1917 school building had been completed on the temple site before the school achieved independence the following year.

日新國小創立於1912年（明治45年）4月，初名「臺南市安平公學校鹽埕分校」，最初的教室設於鹽埕玄天上帝廟內。1918年（大正7年）獨立設校，定名「臺南市鹽埕公學校」，1968年（民國57年）更名日新國小。作為南區歷史最悠久的學校之一，學校於2018年（民國107年）舉辦建校百週年紀念，同年也展開全面校舍重建工程。1917年完工的原始校舍即建於廟埕之上，隔年學校便正式獨立。
