Longtan Elementary School

Longtan Elementary serves the Longtan (龍潭, "Dragon Pool") neighborhood of Yongkang District, though its exact founding year could not be confirmed from available public sources. (Note: an unrelated, same-named "龍潭國小" in Taoyuan's Longtan District, founded in 1899, should not be confused with this Tainan school.) The school's motto and tagline is "Foresight, Vitality, Gratitude" (遠見、活力、感恩). Its campus includes a swimming pool and dedicated playground equipment, both featured prominently in the school's own promotional materials. Like several other Yongkang schools, it uses only domestically-sourced pork and beef in its cafeteria and maintains an attached kindergarten.
