Fuxing Junior High School

Fuxing Junior High School was approved for establishment in November 1973 and formally founded in August 1974, in response to population growth in the Houjia area, under its first principal, Yang Shuisheng. Construction was not yet finished when the school opened, so its earliest classes were held in borrowed classrooms at Houjia Junior High before moving to its own completed campus the following February. The school's second principal later opened a supplementary "night school" program. In 1996, the campus expanded to over 5.8 hectares following completion of the Huweiliao (虎尾寮) land readjustment project, and in 1998 an alumni-and-community education foundation was established to fund student scholarships and emergency aid.

復興國中於1973年（民國62年）11月獲准設校，1974年（民國63年）8月正式創校，為因應後甲地區人口成長而興建，首任校長為楊水生。創校時校舍尚未完工，最初借用後甲國中教室上課，隔年2月才遷入自有校舍。第二任校長任內開設補校（夜間部）課程。1996年隨虎尾寮地區土地重劃案完成，校地擴增至5.8公頃以上，1998年成立校友暨社區教育基金會，用以資助學生獎助學金及急難救助。
