Degao Elementary School

Degao Elementary School was founded in 1975, a year corroborated by school registry sources, though a detailed founding-history narrative could not be located on the school's public-facing pages. What is well documented is the school's role in East District's later expansion: in January 1981, under then-principal Lin Zhengzong, Degao sponsored the founding of a branch campus that became the independent Chongxue Elementary School the following year — one of the district's largest-ever single campuses at its later enrollment peak. The school sits on Chongshan Road, the same road as Zhongxiao Junior High.

德高國小創校於1975年（民國64年），此一創校年份見於學籍資料等來源，惟目前尚未能在校方公開頁面中找到更詳細的創校歷史敘述。學校在東區後續發展中扮演的角色則有清楚記載：1981年（民國70年）1月，時任校長林正宗主導設立分校，該分校於隔年獨立設校，即為崇學國小——這所學校日後在學生數高峰時期，成為東區規模數一數二的大型校園。德高國小校址位於崇善路，與忠孝國中同在一條路上。
