Tiannan Elementary School

Tiannan Elementary began in 1955 as a branch of Liuqiu National School, becoming a branch of Liuqiu Elementary in 1972 before finally gaining independence in 1976. Its name, "天南," combines the first characters of its two catchment villages, Tianfu (天福村) and Nanfu (南福村) — and the school sits at the southernmost point of Xiaoliuqiu island, the last stop for schooling before the island's southern coastline. As of the 2022–23 school year, it had 12 teachers, 2 staff, 6 classes, and 70 students, with a campus that includes a library, playground, computer classroom, and gymnasium.

天南國小創校於1955年（民國44年），最初是琉球國民學校的分校，1972年改隸琉球國小分校，直到1976年（民國65年）才正式獨立設校。校名「天南」取自其學區內天福村與南福村的首字組合而成，學校也位於小琉球島最南端，是島嶼南岸最後一所學校。截至111學年度（2022–23），全校共有12位教師、2位職員、6個班級、70名學生，校園設有圖書館、操場、電腦教室與體育館等設施。
