Quiet schooling between mountain and river.
Tianmei Elementary opened in 1942 as a branch of Nanzhuang Elementary School, becoming an independent school in 1946. Sitting at the foot of Lion's Head Mountain (獅頭山) along the Zhonggang River, the school is close enough to town for convenience yet retains the quiet, rural character of its surroundings, having now served the local community continuously for more than 80 years.
