Tianliao Elementary School

Tianliao Elementary became an independent school in 1960 as "Tianliao National School," taking its present name in 1968. It serves Tianliao Village, a small, sparsely populated farming community near the mountains adjacent to Hengshan Township's Neiwan rail-line area. In the 2022–23 school year, the school had just six classes and only 33 students — yet was staffed by 15 teachers, six additional staff, and one groundskeeper, reflecting the resources rural Taiwan continues to invest in even its smallest schools. An attached preschool rounds out its programs.

田寮國小於1960年（民國49年）獨立設校，初名「田寮國民學校」，1968年更為現名。學校服務田寮村——橫山鄉內灣鐵路支線附近人口稀少的山區農村社區。2022學年度，全校僅有6班、33名學生，卻配置了15位教師、6位職員與1位工友，反映出台灣偏鄉即使面對極小規模的學校，仍持續投入教育資源。學校並附設幼兒園。
