National Tainan Chia-Chi Senior High School

National Tainan Chia-Chi Senior High School traces its roots to April 1, 1924, when it began as a one-year women's program attached to the Tainan Commercial Supplementary School. It became an independent institution in 1933 as the "Tainan Women's Craft School," and was renamed several more times through the rest of the Japanese era. After 1945 it became a municipal junior commercial vocational school for girls, then a provincial home-economics vocational school in 1962, and was elevated to "Taiwan Provincial Tainan Chia-Chi Girls' Senior High School" in 1972. It was nationalized in 2000, and in 2016 — a major institutional shift for a school with nearly a century of history as a girls' school — it began admitting male students to its general-academic track and dropped "girls" from its name, becoming today's National Tainan Chia-Chi Senior High School.

國立臺南家齊高級中等學校校史可追溯至1924年（大正13年）4月1日，最初是附設於臺南商業補習學校的一年制女子講習科。1933年獨立設校，改稱「臺南女子技藝學校」，其後在日治時期歷經多次更名。戰後（1946年）改為市立初級商業職業學校，1962年改為省立家事職業學校，1972年升格為「臺灣省立臺南家齊女子高級中學」，2000年精省後改為國立。2016年——對這所近百年歷史的女校而言是一項重大轉變——學校開始招收男學生進入普通科，並自校名中拿掉「女子」二字，成為今日的國立臺南家齊高級中等學校。
