NCKU Affiliated Tainan Industrial Senior High School

Founded on April 1, 1941 under Japanese rule as "Tainan Prefecture Industrial School," this school grew into one of Taiwan's storied "eight major provincial vocational schools" (八大省工) and was long known simply as Tainan Vocational Industrial School (台南高工). After roughly a decade of negotiation, it was formally transferred from the Ministry of Education on August 1, 2023, becoming an affiliated school of National Cheng Kung University and taking its current name — a rare case of a vocational high school being absorbed by a research university. It has been designated the Ministry of Education's national center school for the Civil Engineering & Architecture cluster, and in 2024 it launched a "BIM Digital Construction Technology" experimental class with NCKU's architecture, civil engineering, and surveying departments. The school today enrolls roughly 2,400 day-division students in 60 classes plus an evening division of about 100 students, and fields a well-known school baseball team.

學校創立於昭和16年（1941年）4月1日，日治時期名為「臺南州立臺南工業學校」，是台灣知名「八大省工」之一，長年人稱「台南高工」。歷經約十年協商，於2023年8月1日正式脫離教育部，改隸國立成功大學，成為大學附屬學校並更為現名——這是罕見由研究型大學接手高職學校的案例。學校為教育部土木建築群國家中心學校，2024年並與成大建築、土木、測量系合作開設「BIM數位建築科技」實驗班。目前日間部約2,400名學生、60班，另有夜間部約100名學生，也以校內棒球隊聞名。
