松浦國小於民國35年（1946年）9月1日以關山國小分校形式設立，民國42年（1953年）2月1日獨立設校，民國57年（1968年）確立現名。學校位於193縣道旁的偏遠鄉間，屬阿美族部落聚落——正是以學生木工班聞名全台的玉東國中所在的同一個松浦社區。
