松浦國小於民國35年(1946年)9月1日以關山國小分校形式設立,民國42年(1953年)2月1日獨立設校,民國57年(1968年)確立現名。學校位於193縣道旁的偏遠鄉間,屬阿美族部落聚落——正是以學生木工班聞名全台的玉東國中所在的同一個松浦社區。
