Shun'an Junior High School

Shun'an Junior High began in 1967 as a branch campus of Dongshan Junior High, known as "冬山初中順安分部." It became a fully independent school in August 1969. At its founding, the provincial government appointed Rao Feng-jiao as its first principal — a woman, notable for the era — and the school purchased 2.5 hectares of land to build its campus. Its first graduating class in 1972 numbered 214 students. Today the school is well known locally for its student soccer team.

順安國中的前身是民國56年（1967年）成立的「冬山初中順安分部」，並於民國58年（1969年）8月正式獨立設校。創校時，省政府任命饒鳳嬌女士為首任校長——在當時的年代相當罕見，學校並購置2.5公頃土地興建校舍。民國61年（1972年）首屆畢業生共214人。如今學校以學生足球隊在地方上小有名氣。
